What martial art should i take iwant it to be hard style? Thank you?
shaolin kung fu is hard style.

muay thai is a hard style.

i think those two are very hard styles, depending on school and teacher.

in shaolin style kung fu you do a lot of conditioning to make your hands and arms really tough, you hit hard bags and steel bars, as well as each other in excercises. theres a focus on palm strikes and round fisted strikes. generally its focused on attacking, there are no blocks, you either move and strike or strike their strikes : ) ive gotta say its pretty damn hard.... ive come home many times and barely been able to use my arms at all the next day.

i dont know a lot about muay thai in specific but from what ive read and heard about it, there is lots of elbows and knees, ive heard that some places do conditioning like we do as well and traditionally there is lots of sparring and fighting in it which would be good for conditioning too. once again i thinks a very attacked focused art with lots of conditioning.

thats pretty much what i consider a hard striking art to be.

there are other hard non striking arts like BJJ and others but i dont really know a lot about them. id like to do BJJ but i dont want to move out of a hard striking art untill i feel ive reached a level of mastership in it, just like bruce lee did.

Good Luck : )
Reply:Kyokushin Karate is a good hard style.

Reply:Jiu Jitsu is what I found to be the hardest. I was a wrestler and karate, judo, boxing. Jiu Jitsu was by far the hardest although boxing is also hard. I started Jiu Jitsu when I was five and it really helped in wrestling. I also did a bit of kick boxing but it was a little more difficult than i expected although I still think Jiu Jitsu was the most useful and difficult.
