Excellent martial arts schools/teachers/gyms around San Jose, CA?

Hello,





I was thinking of taking a martial art around the San Jose area.


So I took my list of interested martial arts, looked up some gyms/dojos/whatevers around the area, and then went around and observed classes.


No place I saw seemed to me to be more than a %26quot;McDojo%26quot;. So I%26#039;m going to change my approach.


Rather than look for a certain style around the area, I want to ask you guys if you know of an exceptional teacher, school, or gym of any effective martial art around the area.

The Bujinkahn isn%26#039;t for everyone, and this isn%26#039;t the most high-speed low drag gonna win me a MMA competition type place.





However I find that it meets my needs.

There%26#039;s Cung Le in Santa Clara.


There%26#039;s Frank Shamrock off of Blossom Hill near Oakridge


%26amp; Ben Der in San Jose for Wing Chun.


Sadly that%26#039;s about it in Santa Clara county if you want true training and no McDojo nonsense. I%26#039;m facing the same lack of options you are my friend.





WushuCentral is all show as Wushu always is. There%26#039;s no sparring and ask for the application of the moves? Nobody can tell ya.


The Ninjitsu I won%26#039;t even comment on to save space.
